MEET YOUR CHEF
Chef Julia Vorpahl is a classically trained chef with a passion for making European baking both beautiful and approachable. A graduate of Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, France—where she earned highest honors as a three-time Valedictorian—Julia is skilled in European Patisserie, Boulangerie, and Culinary Management. She’s also a nationally recognized gingerbread artist, earning accolades at the National Gingerbread Competition, including Third Place in 2019 and a Top 5 finish with the People’s Choice Award in 2021.
With a B.S. in Industrial Design from Georgia Tech and over 6 years of experience as a professional designer, Chef Julia's work reflects a unique blend of artistry, precision, and innovation. Raised in the mountain town of Ellijay, Georgia, and holding dual American and German citizenship, Julia draws inspiration from her Appalachian roots and her international experiences living in the UK, Asia, and Europe. Her culinary philosophy centers around seasonal, sustainable ingredients, exceptional presentation, and sharing the joy of refined baking with all. A well-fed home is a happy home.
