MENU: Traditional Alsacienne Egg Pasta Crème de Champignons (Mushroom Cream Sauce made with local Ellijay Mushrooms) Classic Apple Strudel FRIDAY NIGHTS (5 - 8pm): July 11, July 18, July 25, August 1, August 15, August 29 Class Description: Discover the rustic flavors of Alsace in this hands-on pasta-making class inspired by the hearty cuisine of eastern France! Tucked between France and Germany, Alsace is known for its rich culinary traditions that blend French finesse with German comfort. In this cozy, regional-themed class, you’ll learn to make traditional Alsatian egg pasta from scratch, craft a creamy mushroom sauce featuring locally grown mushrooms, and roll and fill a classic Apple Strudel with spiced apples and flaky pastry. As a bonus, the chef will be baking fresh sourdough during class—perfect for soaking up every last bit of sauce. Channel the warmth of an Alsatian kitchen and take home comforting recipes you'll want to make again and again! What to Expect: You will work in pairs sharing a workstation and some equipment in a fun, hands-on environment led by our Le Cordon Bleu Paris trained Chef. Each class includes 3-hours of professional cooking/baking instructions, basic kitchen safety, ingredients, take-home recipe cards, coffee or tea, and a complimentary wine pairing. What am I taking home? Since this is a Friday Night Dinner Class, we will be eating the fruits of our labors fresh from the oven, but you will be leaving with your leftover Strudel, any leftover pasta, your recipe cards, and a smile! Dress Code: Please wear comfortable, close-toed shoes (chairs are provided but there will be a lot of standing). Please avoid flowy clothing and tie back any long hair. * Participants are responsible for managing their own food allergies; L'Atelier recipes are developed using common cooking and baking ingredients that may or may not be specified in the menu titles, including various fruits and vegetables, nuts, spices, wheat flours, etc. If you have a food allergy, please contact us before attending the class. Adjustments to recipes cannot be made during class, and we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. ** The Chef retains the right to alter recipes without notice in the case of seasonal changes or ingredient shortages *** Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
