MENU: Classic Quiche Lorraine (egg and ham savory French tart) Roasted Leeks with an Egg Vinegarette Cheese Gougères (airy Choux Pastry bites) (Served with fresh baked Sourdough a complimentary glass of wine) DATE: May 9th (Saturday - Mother's Day Weekend, 11 -2pm) Class Description: Discover the elegant flavors of a classic French brunch in this hands-on cooking class inspired by the refined yet comforting cuisine of France! A perfect way to pamper your mother this Mother's Day! From the sunlit cafés of Paris to the charming kitchens of the French countryside, French brunch brings together rich, savory dishes with bright, fresh accents. In this cozy, regional-themed class, you’ll master a classic Quiche Lorraine — a golden egg and ham savory tart — roast tender leeks and dress them with a bright egg vinaigrette, and pipe airy, cheesy gougères made from light choux pastry. As a special touch, fresh sourdough will be baking during class, and everything will be served with a complimentary glass of wine for the perfect French-style feast. What to Expect: You will work in pairs sharing a workstation and some equipment in a fun, hands-on environment led by our Le Cordon Bleu Paris trained Chef. Each class includes 3-hours of professional cooking/baking instructions, basic kitchen safety, ingredients, take-home recipe cards, and a complimentary wine pairing. What am I taking home? Since this is a Lunch Class, we will be eating the fruits of our labors fresh from the oven, but you will be leaving with your leftovers, your take-home recipe cards, and a smile! Dress Code: Please wear comfortable, close-toed shoes (chairs are provided but there will be a lot of standing). Please avoid flowy clothing and tie back any long hair. * Participants are responsible for managing their own food allergies; L'Atelier recipes are developed using common cooking and baking ingredients that may or may not be specified in the menu titles, including various fruits and vegetables, nuts, spices, wheat flours, etc. If you have a food allergy, please contact us before attending the class. Adjustments to recipes cannot be made during class, and we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. ** The Chef retains the right to alter recipes without notice in the case of seasonal changes or ingredient shortages *** Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
