MENU: Traditional French Apple Tart Kolaczki (Polish Christmas Cookies made with Apple Filling) German Apfelschorle (Easy Apple Cider Spritz) SATURDAY AFTERNOONS (2 - 5pm): September 6, 20, 27 October 4, 18, 25 Class Description: Join us in the kitchen for a delightful hands-on journey through Europe’s apple-inspired culinary traditions just in time for the Ellijay Apple Festival! Master the art of crafting a classic French Apple Tart (a Le Cordon Bleu classic!), with its buttery pastry and elegantly arranged apple slices. Then, create Polish Kolaczki, delicate Christmas cookies filled with a sweet apple filling, perfect for festive gatherings. Finish with a refreshing German Apfelschorle, an easy apple cider spritz that balances crisp and bubbly flavors. Under the guidance of our expert chef, you’ll learn authentic techniques and take-home recipes to recreate these timeless European treats that celebrate the versatile apple! Happy Apple Picking! What to Expect: You will work in pairs sharing a workstation and some equipment in a fun, hands-on environment led by our Le Cordon Bleu Paris trained Chef. Each class includes 3-hours of professional hands-on cooking/baking instructions, basic kitchen safety, ingredients, and take-home recipe cards. What am I taking home? Since this is a Friday Night Dinner Class, we will be eating the fruits of our labors fresh from the oven, but you will be leaving with your leftover dessert, your recipe cards, and a smile! Dress Code: Please wear comfortable, close-toed shoes (chairs are provided but there will be a lot of standing). Please avoid flowy clothing and tie back any long hair. * Participants are responsible for managing their own food allergies; L'Atelier recipes are developed using common cooking and baking ingredients that may or may not be specified in the menu titles, including various fruits and vegetables, nuts, spices, wheat flours, etc. If you have a food allergy, please contact us before attending the class. Adjustments to recipes cannot be made during class, and we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. ** The Chef retains the right to alter recipes without notice in the case of seasonal changes or ingredient shortages *** Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
